Removing the colour makes it more difficult to put an exact date on the picture
It was a perfect day to shoot Prakruti & Soumitra’s pre-wedding video, or so as I thought, & you will know it too soon.
The couple rested for a while and were ready to shoot. It was a fun shoot especially when lots of nariyal paani, cheese maagi and home-made yummy maharashtrain food was involved.
As a photographer whenever I edit my pictures there are very few images that I edit into black and white. For this project I edited all into monochrome and gave it to the couple to see how do they react.
To my surprise they loved it, of course later I did share with them coloured images but they were quite content with the black & white edits. Personally I love monochrome pictures as they give a feeling of taking you back in time.
I am waiting for a couple who would share the same interest and let me cover their wedding in black & white.
It doesn’t end here, so I’ll tell you what exactly happened before they rested ——
So the perfect day was almost ruined as Soumitra hails from Indore had a very early morning hectic flight. He wasn’t already feeling well, upon that after drinking some home made juice Prakruti & Soumitra both started throwing up. But luckily they caught the ferry on time to Alibaug but looked a little pale when they arrived the guest house.
My Tip: If travelling to different city for a pre-wedding shoot, do it a day in advance as you might end up feeling very tired and might have a chance to fall sick, due to all the stress.
